200 MPG with a V8 Engine?

How I got started in this - by Ken Hughes Get more details Click Here

Things we thought could never be possible have been done. Some inventions are a matter of accident, while others come after years of trial and error using available means and materials, but after almost a century of patented procedures and devices that should have revolutionized the automobile industry, we are still struggling to see significant improvements in MPG. Water4gas, however, is a culmination of technology and applied simplicity. It gets Hydrogen On Demand from splitting water molecules to produce a potent gas. Then it introduces this gas into the Fuel/Air mixture to accomplish a significant gain in efficiency & power, and reduces emisions at the same time.

Hydrogen On Demand is the answer to the age-old issues of Free Energy for everyone! One can spend a huge investment for a complex system, and not get any better efficiency. In fact, the cost recovery time of the Water4gas system can be a few days, weeks or months instead of years.

Let's investigate the title of this article. Why have I never heard of such a thing before as a 200 MPG Carburetor? Why is such an important item excluded from the public debate? Did I miss the evening news when this was announced?

Does this reflect your reaction? Is it a dream? It has been the dream of many, and you may catch this dream if you dare! There is nothing wrong with you dreaming of a better way to power your car. Try to ponder on what it is like not worrying about upward moves in gas prices.

This title reveals how I reacted to hearing the News of this some years ago. It seems like NEWS to most people, but it is not new. INTERESTED? Well, read on ... Chas. Pogue's 200MPG Carb

Something has got to give!

I had been discussing the Pro's and Con's of saving gas by using a motorcycle to get to work, and a fellow there said he had Patent Drawings for a carburetor that got 200 MPG in a test (85 km/L.) The fact is that it was NOT news at all. The story took place in the 1930's!

It shocked me when I read this report that told of the Pogue Carburetor, and its startling test. What I found more amazing was the opinion of the man who certified the test. He said the V8 Ford ran better than an average car of its type, and that the test with the SENSATIONAL result was done in normal driving situations of stop and go, and good acceleration.

I need to say, when this was news, it CRASHED oil company stocks. It signaled that current prices were not going to be sustainable with this technology available. Gas was reformulated, and things got back to normal for the oil monopolies again.

Hydrogen On Demand could eventually affect gas prices. We can certainly hope it will. As this catches on, more and more people will be saving gas this way, and the demand for petroleum fuels will begin to decline. In time, and with enough participation worldwide, this is a realistic expectation.

If he could do that, then maybe we can, too!

In the time that has transpired, I have learned a lot about why this is a difficult result in ANY car. You see, the Combustion Chamber of the engine needs to stay within a certain temperature range, and operating with a very lean mixture (not so much Gas to Air) causes those temperatures to rise dramatically. The Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT) or Cylinder Head Temperatures (CHT) are typically measured and controlled by the pilot in airplane engines, but it is not controlled the same way in cars. The mixture in automobiles is generally set by on-board computers, but before those computers took over the job, it was set manually with the hood (bonnet) up. It seems Pogue found the answer, but I cannot say exactly what that was. He obviously overcame many obstacles to get this amazing result.

Hydrogen On Demand actually reduces the amount of gas used, partly by keeping Octane up, and Combustion Chamber temperatures down! Hydrogen compresses more than gasoline before exploding, which improves Octane, and has the byproduct of WATER when burned! Using this system, we separate the Hydrogen and Oxygen using electrical current, and produce HHO, which is, also, called Brown's Gas. Lots of Hydrogen and lots of Oxygen together, and it is available for FUEL! There is a lot of power in Hydrogen, so nothing is lost when HHO is introduced this way.

Now, we could spend a lot of time discussing various techniques for saving gas in whatever vehicle we drive, and most of these are actually covered in the FREE extras that are included in your purchase of the two eBooks in our offer. One I had heard spoken of recently was something I tried while riding a motorcycle in the mountains about 30 years ago. The suggestion I heard was to put the transmission into "Neutral," and turn the engine "OFF" while coasting downhill. This is tricky, to say the least, and requires a Manual Transmission. An Automatic Transmission may be ruined by doing this! Thus, you usually see cars towed with the drive wheels off the road!

Sounds great, so what is wrong with it?

In my example, I tried it on the "Blue Ridge Parkway," a limited access highway, and it was not very busy in the middle of the week (mostly tourist traffic.) It was my vacation, and thought I should try something different so I could discuss it with the people at work. I was really on-edge, though, the whole time I coasted with the engine off, and it was difficult getting the thing back into gear after restarting. A motorcycle's shifting pattern is linear, and I had to start back in first. Even with the clutch in, it was difficult, and I didn't like the noise it made until I got into upper gears (4th or 5th.) I did like that I was going along at 45mph without using more gas. The result was about 75mpg overall, which was notably better than my "Flatland" mileage.

It is important to note how dangerous this would be in a car, seeing a man on a motorcycle is NOT generally very "Slippery" in terms of Aerodynamics. When going fast (highway speeds,) one feels a significant difference by ducking down against bike. Just sitting back up makes the thing slow down drastically. In a car, there is not enough "Drag to Weight Ratio" to effect this, and you could wear out your brakes trying not to go off the side of the mountain!

But motorcycles are Dangerous!

Many motorcycles get exceptional gas mileage, and are a good alternative form of transportation for the right person. That person should be willing and able to accept many sacrifices if they are to ride in most conditions. The person who only rides on nice, sunny days may not like to subject himself or the machine to bad weather, or to dangerous traffic situations. It has to be the right person, the right machine, and the right arrangement to get much benefit like this in a regular commute.

It is not too bad an idea for a single guy to use a motorcycle for his only transportation, as I did on some occasions, but there are a lot of sacrifices. At the same time, I watched gas go from 60¢ to about $1.20 per gallon in a few months, but hardly felt it, since I got 40 to 60 MPG. My suggestion is that you find a way to do this for yourself, and hopefully avoid the sacrifices of having only a motorcycle for getting around!

Hydrogen On Demand offers a solution that has little or no sacrifice, is easy and inexpensive and can be removed or disabled in seconds! With such a simple solution, who would not want to move into the area of an experimenter? All other options are either very expensive or dangerous, and that puts them out of contention for this job.

Using Water as fuel is something I never heard of before!

Sorry again, but that was discovered about 90 years ago. It seems that Pilots flying close to the surface to avoid enemy detection noticed a marked performance boost when over water. As the mist or fog got into the intake with the air, engine performance improved. I know of people who noticed this in the ‘50's and ‘60's while driving their "Hot Rods." If it had rained or was raining, they noticed an improvement in performance, and then sought to get that regardless of weather.

Now we are getting back to the introduction of "water" into the combustion chamber. The systems that were available at that time usually required inserting an injector plate between the Carburetor and the Intake Manifold. The benefits were a cooling of the Combustion Chamber that allowed a much leaner mixture. As cars got more complex, the on-board computers made this difficult, as they would make adjustments regardless of the measures we tried!

Enter: Hydrogen On Demand

Using Hydrogen On Demand accomplishes most of those goals, and even cools the combustion chamber to allow for a lean mixture. You know, "Water in the Gas" is Not a good thing, as it NEVER gets to the engine in a measured amount. Get some water in your gas tank, and you will find gas mileage will suffer as will performance. A mist of water vapor mixing with the "Fuel/Air" mixture in the intake, however, will do the job nicely, as long as it is the right amount!

Beyond the introduction of water vapor is the amazing result from splitting water into its elements to form a very potent gas. This gas goes by a few different names including HHO, Brown's Gas (named for the man who discovered it) and Hydroxy. Now we have an explosive mixture, that is very efficiently stored in water, being introduced into this equation.

In the Water4gas system, Hydrogen and Oxygen gases are introduced into the Fuel/Air mixture, and, as they burn, the byproduct is water. Combustion Chamber temperatures are affected in a GOOD way, and it has benefits of better gas mileage, better performance and lower exhaust emissions.

At the present time, Hydrogen On Demand is only for gasoline and diesel cars and trucks. However, many of our experimenters are working on adaptations to propane/LPG/CNG propelled vehicles, as well as boats and other applications such as electric generators, etc.

Thus, Water4gas has the potential to revolutionize waterfuel technologies.
